One of the latest projects of ours is the newly refurbished Art Museum Serlachius
located in Mänttä, Central Finland. The museum is a unique cultural
entity which offers a venue for the friends of art and history. The
history of the Museum Serlachius goes back to 1945, when it was first
opened.
The newly built beautiful pavilion extension, Gösta's Pavilion, has been designed by the Spanish Architectural Studio MX_SI. Inside the pavilion there is also a spacious restaurant with high ceilings that boast with a number of Secto black 4200 pendants. We enjoy seeing the Secto pendants bringing light to the art lovers dining below!
Serlachius Museum's Gösta's Pavilion was among the four shortlisted candidates for the first ever Finlandia Prize in Architecture that was awarded by the Finnish Association of Architects (SAFA) in the autumn 2014.
